How the weeks fly by. If it weren’t for tracking on this blog I probably would have lost count of the weeks by now. The days leading up to my weigh in, my weight fluctuated quite a bit; mostly water weight I’m sure. However, my week 5 weight continued my downward trend at 198.4 lbs.

Even with all the Coronavirus craziness, I have been determined to remain consistent in my exercise and diet. It hasn’t been easy. During this week I was only able to workout 3 times instead of 5 times like I usually try to do. I probably could have been tighter with adhering to my macros. Considering the circumstances locally and around the world though, I would say that things went well enough – sometimes you just need a little ‘cheat’ comfort food.

If I may, I feel enticed to mention that I’m very confident my focus on personal macros and good nutrition has strengthened my immune system and health at a deeper level. By feeding my body better, I feel better. I hope all stay safe and happy in these trying times.
